Starting Monday, Sept. 10, the City of Austin will begin removing temporary water barriers on the southern portion of Cesar Chavez near B.R. Reynolds Drive. The devices will be replaced with permanent guardrail to maintain a barrier between regular traffic and users of the Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail.
