I’ve had a hunch all along that IndyAustin and CNC probably conned many of the signers of the CodeNEXT ballot-referendum petition into signing it under false pretenses, but the video below explains how even a board member of AURA (the arch-nemesis of most traditional Austin neighborhood associations, including the ZNA) was tricked into signing it:
And as the video explains, this massive scam was perpetrated by a group consisting of both lawyers and local activists with decades of experience with ballot referenda. (In other words, the con jobs were intentional.)
