Friends of Zilker Welcome Party

Hey everyone! We’re excited to announce that we are once again hosting in person Friends of Zilker meetings in the neighborhood!

Our first get together will be this Saturday, May 21st at Eight Bit Pizza on S. Lamar from 3-5pm.

As a reminder, Friends of Zilker is an inclusive neighborhood association taking online votes for all our positions and reporting the results of those votes to the city so your voices are directly heard on these important issues! So if you are interested in neighborhood issues like better bike lanes, maintaining Little Zilker Park, South Lamar Corridor improvements, Zilker Vision Master Plan, District 5 elections or something similar, please come by and say hello!

I might add one of the reasons for gathering at 8-bit pizza (formerly Brooklyn Pie) is they are a locally owned neighborhood business that have been struggling with affordability. So please stop by, grab a slice, a beverage, and support a local business while learning about or re-engaging with your friendly neighborhood association, the Friends of Zilker.
