The Zilker Elementary Campus Advisory Council is looking for a business representative!
What is the CAC?
Campus Advisory Councils are committees of parents, students, business and community representatives, teachers, principals, and other campus staff. The mission of CACs is to promote excellence in education for all students through broad-based representation. CACs provide valuable input to principals, who ultimately have decision-making responsibility for their campuses.
The business representative is not required to live or work in the neighborhood but we would prefer that they have some link to Zilker. We are specifically interested in bringing a realtor into the group who has knowledge of the types of people moving into and out of the neighborhood as well as overall trends as they relate to our student population.
We meet eight times, monthly, during the school year from 3:15 - 4:15pm. Meeting dates are set at the first gathering in September.
