Dear Friends,
We are thrilled to announce the award of critical funding that will allow us to proceed with two new affordable housing projects in Austin! Zilker Studios will provide 110 supportive housing units for individuals on South Lamar, and The Loretta will be home to 137 families next to our existing Lakeline Station community in North Austin.
It takes a village to build a community.
Thank you to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs for $15 million in tax credits for each of these two projects, as well a $2 million loan for Zilker Studios. We are also deeply grateful for support from our community partners, without whom these projects would be impossible:
