Well it has been just over a month and a half since I first posted about the gravel on the roads in Zilker and the situation only seems to get worse. It feels like fresh gravel must be being applied on some regular basis as it seems to get better and next thing there is a gravely road again.
This is most noticeable in the bike / multimodal lanes where piles of gravel have accumulated. Not only is this dangerous as two wheel vehicles can easily slip on the gravel. But if your bike has fenders like many e-bikes it is really impactful. I’ve even have a few larger rocks get stuck and cause the bike to lurch for a moment. Is there any info on when this will be finished remediated? What about the bike lanes with proper barriers?
